UPDATE: Melissa received the gift of life through the gracious donation
of a pancreas and kidney in September 2012. One mother's selfless gift
of donating her deceased daughter's organs created a miracle in several
people's lives. Melissa is now Diabetes free and no longer requires
dialysis in order to stay alive and healthy. One donar can affect as
many as eight (8) lives.
